fromotherdepartmentssuchassports,thecopydeskandthephoto
desktotalkaboutwritingandcoveragewithnewsroomveterans.
Likefulltimereporters,summerinternsareencouragedto
generatetheirownstoriesandtoworkwithartists,photographers
andeditorsondailyandenterprisestoryassignments.
TheinternshipsusuallybegininlateMay,butthereissome
latitudeinthespecificstartdate.

Applicantsshouldhavetheirowntransportationwithavalid
licenseandinsurancepolicy.Also,thoseselectedfortheinternship
willberequiredtoundergoadrugtestpriortoemployment.The
paperpaysforthetest.

Thepaperdoesnotpayforsummerhousing,butwillprovidesome
suggestionstohelpyoufindtemporaryhousing.
