Educational Consultant Agreement

This Educational Consulting Contract is put into order by HistoryToday and Eleanor
Holtzapple, Emily Patel, Jessica Schot, Lauren Metrolis, and Sinyoung (Mia) Kwon, on the
13th day of May 2015.
1. Project Plan:
Phase 1
Phase 1 entails all research necessary for the post at History
Today. All research required prior to working on the following phases,
will be completed in this time. We will use mostly use primary sources
for research. In the event that, secondary sources are used, they will be
reliable and we will fact-check them with other trustworthy sources.
Phase 1 will take place over a week (five working days).
Phase 2 - Part A
Phase 2 - Part A entails producing the list of the Top 10 Primary
Sources, in which there will be a variety of sources on the subject. This
will invite readers to interpret and analyse the information on their
own. The list of sources will also motivate students to discuss the
topics at hand. Phase 2 will be completed in two work days.
Phase 2 - Part B
Phase 2 - Part B entails highlighting a key tool for research that
will aid students in finding reliable sources or creating high quality
projects. We will ensure that the tool for research is reliable,
trustworthy, appropriate, and easy to use. This will be completed in
correspondence to Phase 2 - Part A, thus, Phase 2 - Part A and B will
be completed in the two work days.
Phase 3
Phase 3 entails the creation of the infographics and timelines.
This will teach children in the 21st century in an interactive way that
allows them to process information more thoroughly through the use of
visual, auditory and kinesthetic style. This Phase will be finished in a
week (five work days).
Phase 4: Become Editing maybe?
Phase 4 entails the group working together to edit the whole
project. The whole project will be double-checked and reviewed to
make sure that it has no writing mistakes, and is easy to understand.
This Phase will take two work days.
2. Compensation:
HistoryToday shall pay Eleanor Holtzapple, Emily Patel, Jessica Schot,
Lauren Metrolis, and Sinyoung (Mia) Kwon $120.00 per hour. The pay is due before
or on every Friday following the end of the week that the consultants spend working
for the client. Any medical leave or involuntary absences will also be paid.
The consultants will also be provided with 5 weeks of leave yearly, and
compensations for any harm that might happen due to negligence on the part of the
Client.

The Consultants relationship with Client will only be that of an independent

contractor. No part of Consultants compensation will be able to be withheld by Client
for the payment of any social security, federal, state or other employee payroll taxes.
Consultants agree that all work product developed by them alone is the sole
property of the Client. Consultants shall retain no ownership of the work products.
This includes, but is not limited to, infographics, lists, videos, and timelines.
