Becoming an Engineer
What they do
Architects meet with clients and discuss cost and requirements with the client. Once
theres a decision on budget and requirements the Architect will then start making
construction plans to show the client an idea and model of what they're building will
become. After there is an agreement that the Architect and client are on the same past
and idea then will the building start. The Architect will only be done with his/hers work
until the whole building is done meanwhile he/she will visit the construction site to
make sure everything is on track and going according to plan.
Work
Environment
Most jobs in Architecture are self employed. While most Architects work full time
unless you are self employed then you may have a more flexible schedule. Working
full time usually means meetings with the client and other Architects and Engineers.
How to become
one
Most of the education requirements are 1-5 years 5 years being a bachelor's without
any prior education and knowledge of Architecture. While being in a classroom you
use CAD program and study math science and other important courses, you will also
learn create drawings and three-dimensional models of their designs. All Architecture
registration exam of at least 3 years experience working a long paid internship and
working with the Architect creating building models and drawing along with using
CADD program. Even after resiving your degree of Architecture most job will still
require you to continue education during your job to keep up on programs and building
and keeping your education on building you already know.In 2012 most Architects
resived there certificate by the National Council of Architectural Registration Boards
(NCARB).

Demand Comparison
<< Now write a paragraph (at least 5 sentences) that explains in your own words how the demand for your
engineering field compares to other types of engineering you chose to compare, compares to all engineers
and compares to all occupations. Be specific to make it at least 5 sentences long.>>
Architecture field is in more in demand of employment, now its one of the top engineering jobs in demand.
Compared to Drafters,Civil Engineering and Mechanical Engineering, Architects are being hired almost as
much as Civil Engineers. And if you think about more into the future the income will only increase as long
as people continue to go into Architure. As long as people continue to want to build buildings, which is
unlikely to ever stop, the field of Architecture will never decrease in demand. The only day I believe that
Architecture will stop in demand would be when we run out of land to build on.

<< Now write a paragraph (at least 5 sentences) that explains in your own words how the salary changes
by years of experience and for the two locations. Be sure to discuss how the cost of living is related to
the difference in salaries. >> Debating from Austin texas and Los Angeles California is a big difference. If i
were just to include location and not salary I probably go with California. Then Including family I would stay
with Texas. But I can't forget to included income eventually so then again I would go with California. I could
just go back and forth between Texas and California forever. At the first year of experience between Austin
and Texas is $5725 , 3-4 $4629, 7-9 $7212 and 10-14 $8422. The difference between the two only
increases, getting more pay in California as my years of experience enhances. But then again the cost of
everything in California is more expensive compared to Texas. For intensits (not real calculations) the cost
of buying a house might be $1000 in Texas but the cost of a house in California will be %130 more
meaning it to be $13000 to buy the same house.
