integrals, and will be discussed in math 125 )
Recall that parametric equations for a curve:
contain more information than the Cartesian equation (the curve + a certain "motion" along the curve).
In particular a parametric curve at a point has 3 derivatives:
Ex:
a) Find the equation(s) of the tangent line(s) at the point (1, -2)
e) Find all the points where the tangent line has slope 4.
e) Find all the points where the tangent line has slope 4.
