Directions : During the 10-minute reading period, use the table below to jot down your thoughts on each of the documents in the practice DBQ packet. As we review the documents as a class, feel free to jot down additional information about the documents. Remember : 1. a documents summary is identifying what the document says (face value; plot summary); 2. a documents analysis is explaining what the document means (how the document relates to the prompt); 3. a documents POV discusses the perspective of the document (the motive of the author in writing the document; identifying the validity of the document, etc.); 4. a documents POV indicates in which group the document belongs (you need at least 3 groups of at least 2 docs each).
