RULE FOR ETAL CLASSES

• All classes are run under BD rules.

• All competitors must compete within the correct grading level according to the BD rules, except please note.
The first 2 horses with the highest number of points at Etal in 2008/09 (last year) at Prelim and
Novice level must move up a grade. Any Horse/Rider combination that have been placed 1st or
2nd in any dressage championship must move up a level.
• All classes will be run on a points system and will be cumulative over the series. Prizes and trophies will be
awarded to the overall winners at the end of the series at each level. A trophy will be awarded to the
best under 21 years.
• Horse trials horses – Only those competing at Pre Novice level may compete at Prelim level. Intermediate
horse and above can only compete in Classes 5 & 6.

Entry Fee: £7.00 per class (Please make cheques payable to Mrs M E Brown Dressage Account.)

Prizes: Rosettes to 6th place. Points given to 6th place.

Closing Date: 7 Days prior to the competition.

Withdrawals: 3 Days before each competition as this allows those on the waiting list to compete.

Times: Ring the secretary between 7pm and 10pm on the Friday before the competition.
