Are We Really Capable of Knowing a True Worldview?

Worldviews is a set of assumptions through which we interpret reality, which are born from a
faith commitment to an ultimate. This ultimates could be God, Cosmos or Self each one has
different perspectives on life in general, you choose which one you think its the most accurate or
maybe you are taught which one is the correct one as your family/society thinks . But are we
really capable of knowing? In this paper I will argue that humans are incapable of knowing
which worldviews is true.

My reasons to believe that humans are not capable of knowing which worldview is true is that
there is not true way of knowing which worldview is accurate because we cannot approach a
worldview as a certain way because we would automatically disqualified the credibility of the
worldview by our own beliefs. Therefore humans don't have the ability or the knowledge to say
that a worldview is the right one because we as human beings don't approach, thinks or believe
the same way.

Faith enthusiast for example Christians argue that their ultimate is who created them, earth
and all living/non-living. When you ask them why do you think this way? They answer the Bible
says so or the lord has given me knowledge to know what is true and false. When you start to
think about their answer you realize that they are one mindedly thinking about their worldview
and believe that there way is the only way possible. This type of reason is invalid because faith is
something that is believed especially with strong conviction but there is no accurate evidence, for
example all the evidence that people argue about Christianity being the most accurate worldview
comes from books written a minimum of 40 years after the fact or fiction they claim truth, by
people who never met him God or saw if the information they are writing is true and reliable.

By saying that humans are incapable of knowing which worldview is true is irrelevant
because who we are to know what is the right way to approach a worldview and expect to
identify it as true or false. If we were capable of knowing which worldview is right we wouldn't
be having an argument about the topic and we would be having ultimate knowledge on
everything that there is to know. Therefore stating that humans are incapable of knowing which
worldview is true is a rational way of saying we would never be able to understand what is the
right way to think and believe on a certain worldview.
