    On06082015atapproximately620AMAnsoniaPolicereceivedacallfromanurseat

    theGriffinHospitalreportingthattwopeoplehadcometotheemergencyroomafter
    beingattackedbyadog.

    Whenofficersarrivedatthehospitalitwaslearnedthattwomales,ages43and41of
    Ansonia,hadbeenattackedbyaroamingPitBull.Theonlyinformationthatthemales
    couldgiveasadescriptionwasadarkcolororbrownPitBull.Oneofthemalesreported
    thatheheardadisturbanceinfrontofhisresidenceatabout300AMandwhenhewent
    outtoinvestigatehewasattackedbythePitBull.Themalesaidthathewasbittenonthe
    armbythedogandhewasabletofightthedogoffandrunaway.Theothermalealso
    relayedthesamestoryaboutthePitBullattackingunprovokedandhewasalsobittenon
    thearmandlegarea.Bothmenrequiredmedicalattentionandsurgerytorepairtheir
    injuries.Theincidentoccurredat16ArchStreetinAnsonia.

    ItisunknownatthistimewhotheownerofthePitBullis.Aneighborhoodcanvasdid
    notresultinanyotherwitnessesortheidentificationofanowneratthistime.Thiscaseis
    stillunderinvestigation.
