Chapter 1

-Old Majors
Speech: Old
Major gathers all
the animals and
starts a speech
about a
revolution
against the
humans.

-Beasts of
England:
The pigs
introduce the
song Beasts of
England to all
the animals.

-Old
Major
dies
three
days
after
giving
his
speech.

Chapter 2

-The
Revolution
Begins:
To fulfill Old
Majors wishes
the animals
begin the
revolution, Mr.
Jones (the farm
owner) forgot to
feed the
animals; that
triggers the start
of the Revolution

-The 7
Commandments:
After kicking Mr.
Jones out of the
farm the pigs
establish the 7
commandments (a
series of rules
everyone has to
follow)

Chapter 3

-Start of
Inequality:
Napoleon stole the
milk and drank it all
by himself (the first
sign of inequality
coming from the
pigs). Squealer had
to justify why he
did that.

Chapter 4

-The Battle of
Cowshed:
Mr. Jones is back!
He comes with
other humans to
retake control of
Animal Farm, which
used to be Manor
Farm. The animals
are well prepared
(thanks to
Snowballs plan)
and win the battle.

Chapter 5

-The Windmill
Idea:
Snowball suggests
the idea of building
a windmill; the
windmill will
improve the
modernization of

-Bye, Bye
Snowball!
Snowball is kicked
out of Animal Farm.
Napoleon saw
Snowball as a threat
to the power so he
sent nine dogs after
Snowball; the dogs
persecuted Snowball
out of the farm. Now
all the power
belonged to Napoleon
(he made everyone

Chapter 6

-Human contact
begins:
The animals start
to notice they are
not self-sufficient
and they need
some supplies
from the humans,
so they start
trading with
neighbor farms.

Commandments
start to break:
The first broken
commandment
that was broken
was: no animals
shall sleep in
beds; the pigs
start sleeping in
beds and justify
their actions with
stupid excuses

-The
Windmill
Collapses
The windmill
broke down
after a strong
wind, it was a
very weak
windmill (the
walls were

Chapter 7
-The Hen
Rebellion:
Napoleon wants
the hens eggs
to trade with
humans for
different items
(for his own
benefit). The
hens get mad
and start a
rebellion.

-The animals
rebuild the
windmill

-Napoleon sends
a message:
To send a message
Napoleon cuts the
food ration of the
hens, and
threatens to kill
anyone who tries
to feed the hens.

Chapter 8

-Frederick attacks:
The neighbor, Mr.
Frederick, along with
his friends attack
Animal Farm and
destroy the windmill.

-More broken
commandmen
ts:
The pigs start
to drink
alcohol, a very
important
commandment
was broken.

Chapter 9
-Pigs are
starting to
become
more
unequal,
food is very
scarce but
they still
live a good
life.

-Boxer is
taken to the
horse
slaughter
-Animals
start to
rebuild the
windmill
once again

-Napoleon
becomes the
president of
Animal Farm.

Chapter 10

-Change in
commandments:
Pigs start
changing the
commandments.
Four legs good,
two legs better!
and All animals
are equal but
some animals are
more equal than
others.

-Humanlike:
Pigs start behaving
more and more like
humans; they start
walking in two legs,
using clothes, and
many things humans
do.

-Can you spot


the
difference?
At last, pigs
behaved so
much as
humans that it
was difficult to
differentiate in
between a pig
and a human.
