Installation

Card Reader
At present, 1 piece of hardware is supported by Intergy 6.0 &
MedManager v11.01 and above

Magtek Centurion encrypted card reader: These readers are plugand-play and connect to your PC via a USB port. Card information submitted using
this device is encrypted for the protection of the cardholder. Card information
submitted using the Centurion card reader is not stored on your PC.

Card Reader Installation Process

In the lower right-hand corner of your display (the System Tray) you will see an icon
for Sage Exchange. The icon resembles a white square trimmed in green, with the
letters SE in green inside the square.

Right-click on the Sage Exchange icon, then select Settings from the menu. Under
the Available Devices window, click the box to the left of the option for Magensa

Card Swipe.

If the majority of your transactions will be swiped, click the box to the left of
the option for Automatically start card swipe.
Click the OK button.
