Figure (a) shows the velocity streamline of the cylinder with a maximum velocity of

0.016 meter per second. As we can see from the figure that the Stream line pattern
for the design is uniform and because of laminar flow. When Reynolds numbers
increase, it will cause turbulent flow over a cylinder as well as it will induced to drag
also.
Figure (b) shows the velocity contour for the cylinder. This also similar to velocity
streamlines. Here we can observe maximum velocity = 0.003073 m/s from figure.
Figure (c) shows the static pressure contour of the cylinder. We gave static pressure
at inlet is 0 pa. if we see in fiqure, the static pressure of behind the cylinder is
-0.00096pa.
Fiqure (d) shows the total pressure contour of the cylinder. . if we see in fiqure, the
total pressure of behind the cylinder is 0.0005309pa

Figure (e & f) shows the mean drag coefficient for upstream and downstream
cylinder , here the analysis is done by transient.
Figure (g & h) shows the mean lift coefficient for upstream and downstream cylinder
,

Figure (i&j) shows the monitor the mean drag coefficient from plot input
signal. Cd for up stream cylinder is 1.818 and Cd for down stream cylinder is
1.80. For RE=100 case, the drag along a upstream cylinder is high compare
to downstream cylinder.

From table we can observe, point 6 is having high static pressure and high total
pressure. When pressure is high, slightly velocity also decreases at a particular
point.

The above chart shows the static pressure, total pressure & velocity for first line in
behind the cylinder.

The above chart shows the static pressure, total pressure & velocity for first line in
behind the cylinder. We absorbed from chat, the maximum static pressure=0.0002pa ,maximum total pressure= 0.0043pa and maximum velocity =0.003m/s
