Dear Mum and Dad
Technology will bring the
family closer together because
if one of us is in Britain we
could use docs to edit
homework together. If we want
to talk to each other from
Dunedin we communicate on a
phone. Tech will also help with
research, we can do homework
faster. I look forward to have
more family time together.

So can I suggest some dos +
donts.
Do.1 Use it for homework,
school and research.
Do.2 Use it when you need
help or in an emergency.
Do.3 Use it for communicating
with the family so you can get
information about what is
going on at home.
Dont.1 Cyber-bully anyone.
Dont.2 Use it at social times
(eg: At dinner.)
Dont.3 Look at rude photos or
post hurtful things.

Not communicating with our family

Hunching over staring at a screen can be
bad for your back
You can communicate over seas
Much faster to find information
You can be cyber-bullied
Technology can take over your
life/addiction to games
Can be useful if lost
Kids can get fat and obese

More small children can open

a web browser rather than
swim unaided.
More 2-3 year olds can play a
video game rather than ride a
bike.
In 2010 the Americans spent
more than 42.8 million dollars
on tech.
And in 2015 they will spend
1.8 billion dollars on tech
