Library Night

Dear Parents,
Mark your calendars for the first FP Library Night, and sign up, soon (deadline Sept. 18)! The
objective of the evening is to utilize the FP Library and promote literacy. Students and parents are
welcome to join us for all or part of Library Night. There will be several events happening
throughout the evening:

4:30
Raffle Tickets
(FP main entrance (G1/G3 door)) - The evening begins with raffle
tickets being sold at the door. All participants get one ticket, free, just for attending the event!
Tickets are also available for purchase (cash only, please):

The funds generated by the raffle will assist in covering the prizes and the cost of Library Night, as
well as go toward making future Library Nights even better!
There will be various raffle prizes: bookstore gift certificate, books, and magazines. The full list of
prizes will be posted/displayed at the event.

Library Games & SQUIRT
- Participants will rotate between a library-focused game
and time spent reading in the Library. The focus here is on the students, and parents are
encouraged to join.

FP Exhibition Room (1st floor)) - Relax, have a
bite to eat, but listen carefully as the winning tickets for the raffle prizes will be called!

Literacy Informational Centers
- Take mom and dad along on an AR journey.
Experience Raz-Kids, together. Participants will explore literacy centers with their parents. The
focus this time is on the parents: understand and experience some of the technology students
utilize in Language Arts, explore what the FP Library has to offer, and learn about early literacy.
