ABOUT THE AUTHOR


M. Pratap Rao is a well qualified practicing Architect-Planner at Hyderabad, Andhra Pradesh with eighteen years experience in the field of architecture and urban planning. He obtained Bachelors
degree in Architecture from Jawaharlal Nehru Technological University, Hyderabad in 1977 and Masters degree in Urban and Regional Planning with first rank and gold medal from University of
Mysore, Mysore in 1981. He was given Research Award for excellence in architecture by Indian Institute of Architects in 1991 and VSF fellowship of Vastu Shilpa Foundation, Ahmedabad in 1995.
He participated and presented research papers in several seminars and published two books and twenty research papers in leading architecture urban planning journals.
He is an Associate member of Indian Institute of Architects, Institute of Town Planners India and Indian Institute of Interior Designers.
