Psalm Thirty-Seven-A Psalm of David

Part Two

Psalm 37:10
10 For yet a little while, and the wicked shall not be: yea, thou shalt
diligently consider his place, and it shall not be.

David is saying; it might be pleasing to the eyes to see the wicked

prospering and enjoying themselves; but their time will be cut short
when they last expect it!
Psalm 37:11
11

But the meek shall inherit the earth; and shall delight themselves in
the abundance of peace.

The abundance of peace will be all around us, this will be a joyful
time, and the sun will shine day and night!

Proverbs 10:22
22

The blessing of the LORD, it maketh rich, and he addeth no sorrow

with it.

Psalm 37:12
12

The wicked plotteth against the just, and gnasheth upon him with his
teeth.

The accuser of the brethren goes around trying to find fault in the
Christina that is serving God.

Revelation 12:10
And I heard a loud voice saying in heaven, Now is come salvation, and strength,
and the kingdom of our God, and the power of his Christ: for the accuser of our
brethren is cast down, which accused them before our God day and night.

The battle is the Lords! Thank you Jesus!!

Psalm 37:13
13

The Lord shall laugh at him: for he seeth that his day is coming.

We have the Victory in Jesus; all we have to do is read the book of Revelation.
Psalm 37:14
14
The wicked have drawn out the sword, and have bent their bow, to cast down
the poor and needy, and to slay such as be of upright conversation.

Greater is He that is in us than he that is in the world. If God is for us

who can be against us.
Psalm 37:15
15

Their sword shall enter into their own heart, and their bows shall be
broken.

The wicked lose their battle even before they get started.

A little that a righteous man hath is better than the riches of many
wicked.

A righteous man is of more value them the riches of the wicked; they
will soon come to an end.
Psalm 37:17
17

For the arms of the wicked shall be broken: but the LORD upholdeth
the righteous.

The arm of the Lord is extended to the righteous.

revealed?

When we call on the Lord He sends His angels to guide us in all our
ways!

Psalm 37:18

The LORD knoweth the days of the upright: and their inheritance
shall be for ever.

To be with Jesus is more than we could ask for. Eye has not seen nor
ear heard what God has prepared for them that love Him.
Psalm 37:19
19

They shall not be ashamed in the evil time: and in the days of famine
they shall be satisfied.

God will never leave us or forsake us!

Psalm 37:20
20 But the wicked shall perish, and the enemies of the LORD
shall be as the fat of lambs: they shall consume; into smoke
shall they consume away.

God is a consuming fire, when the wicked are destroyed, they shall
consume away.
Psalm 37:21
21

The wicked borroweth, and payeth not again: but the righteous sheweth
mercy, and giveth.

The righteous know that it is better to give them to receive; we can

never out give the Lord.

Psalm 37:22
22

For such as be blessed of him shall inherit the earth; and they that be
cursed of him shall be cut off.

Again David quotes of the meek, they will inherit Gods riches, they
will inherit the earth after it has been cleansed by the Lord.
Psalm 37:23
23

The steps of a good man are ordered by the LORD: and he delighteth
in his way.

God delights when He sees a good man following His footsteps, just
as we delight ourselves in the Lord.
Psalm 37:24

Though he fall, he shall not be utterly cast down: for the LORD
upholdeth him with his hand.

God knows we arent prefect yet and He is there when we fall to pick

I have been young, and now am old; yet have I not seen the
righteous forsaken, nor his seed begging bread.

David is saying, in his young and old age, God was always there
taking care of him and the righteous.
