Task:
1. Choose a human rights violation topic (e.g. child marriage, police brutality,
genocide, detention centres).
2. Research your topic using key terms and choose three (four or five) of your
favourite sources.
3. Write a case study around your chosen topic using the structure in the Griffith University document here:

As part of the discussion for the case study, write down which article(s) are being broken from the Universal
Declaration of Human Rights. Explain why those rights are being broken, using in-text references to support your
discussion.
4. Present an oral, using the same structure as your case study. For example: Introduction/context, observations
(use statistics here), discussion, recommendations, conclusion, and references. (Separate rubric)
