Sample Task Design for the following Lessons

Topic: Solar System


Possible Task Design

Bring them to Museum near the school place where they can see those
different planets at planetarium and if theres no planetarium at the
certain place; let the students watch the video clip about Solar System.
Ask them to memorize and learn those features, considering sizes for
planets, from large to small, and including the color.
Bring them to Science Laboratory if there is, or any place they are
comfortable enough to make a mock ups
To make a hanging model, they can use dowel rods to (connect the
planets to the sun in the center. They could also use a hula-hoop toy to
form the main structure, suspend the sun in the middle, connect if to
two sides), and hang the planets around the circle.
After making this mock ups, rubrics are being provided if they met
those specific things that wanted to meet.

Topic: Lunar Phase


Possible Task Design
o Bring the students to the Audio- Visual Room to watch a video on how
lunar phase changes on every stages.
o After watching, students are required to draw on the bond paper on
every stages based on their understanding and put some features
below
o Present it to the class with the rubrics being provided by the teacher
