Project Proposal
Title of Project:
1. Describe your project idea, questions, problem, or proposed
works.
I want to do something outside in nature that will not last forever,
something
like Christo & Jean Claudes artwork installed in nature.
2. What goals do you have in mind? (Keep in mind planning, ideas,
viewers, and presenting your proposal)
I like the idea of transformation so I want to transform a space into
something
else. Like when you see an ugly courtyard that everyone
surpasses.
3. What objects, materials, and techniques will you need to reach
your goals in your project?
I will borrow a bunch of dirt and rocks from the construction on
campus. I will
also used found objects in my project.
4. What are your resources? Please list five artist examples that can
relate to your proposal idea.
Andy Goldsworthy, Christo & Jean Claude, Olsen Zander, Richard
Serra, and
Andrew Rogers. I saw a Christo and Jean Claude piece of work and
it was so
cool on the river. I really like the idea that the work isnt
permanent and it
involves nature.
5. What materials do you imagine working with?

I know I want to transform a space outside. The courtyard with the

large soup
can always gets surpassed so I want to transform that space with found
materials

6. What is your time frame? Please create a timeline that includes

planning, sketching, gathering materials, creating work,
documenting, and also clean up time.

7. Do you need funding or permission from anyone?

Yes, I will talk to the school board for permission. For funding no,
because my
friends will help me with documenting and cleaning up and Im using
found objects.

8. Please create three possible blueprint sketches in your

sketchbook. From those three sketches, choose one and create 3
multiple perspective sketches (Top view, front view, side view).
9. How are you going to advertise your artwork? What do you want
your viewers to get out of this artwork? What do you want to get
out of this artwork?
I will create a flyer. I will not tell people when everything is
changing but I
Will represent that it will be a changing space.
10. What key art concepts do you have in mind?
Environmental art, transformation, line, shape, space

11. How will you document? How long will your documentation last?
My friends will help me document by taking day-to-day photos and
videos.
12. How will you clean up and how long will it take? What will you do
with your materials?

My friends who helped me document will help me clean up. I will

give back
whatever materials I can and donate/get rid of the rest.
I, the teacher, will review this proposal and determine the verdict for your art
project. Please keep in mind, many factors influence my decision include
time, funding, materials, department approval, and available workspace. The
project is not final until this document is approved and signed by all
necessary members. If the project is approved, please answer the following
questions upon completion.
