I think I could take this lesson to the next level by having their peer review their
classmates multimediapresentationsandallowthemtocollaborate ontheirprojectsafter
hearing their presentations.. kind of another way to ask questions but with their
classmateswhoaretheexpertsonthattopic.

FinalReflection

BasedontheresourcesinBasics,andyourownexperience,reflectonhowthoughtfulintegrationofbest
practiceandtechnologycanimproveyourinstructionalpractice.Givesomedetails.

I think the thing about technology that most people get confused with is that when it is implemented
correctly in the classroom it is very beneficial. It can not only substitute some current practices but it can
enhance practices as well as long as the objective of the lesson is the key focus rather than the learning of the
technology. Implementing technology in the classroom is extremely beneficial for students of todays age
because they are constantly surrounded by it and have a short attention span and technology allows them to
stage engaged in the lesson.
I believe in my own current practice although I use technology a lot I can improve my lesson objective
and really focus on taking their technology to the next level on the SAMR and TPACK scales. Sometimes I know
I get swept up in creating a new technology lesson that I dont stop think about WHY I am using such
technology. I think by giving myself time to reflect I can create better lessons and understand WHY I am doing
what I am doing.
