8. Use the Analyze menu and look under Descriptives and select Frequencies. Define the variables as gender and HTN. Run that. You will need the tables of
frequencies to hand in.

9. In the Analyze menu, look under Descriptives and select Descriptives and put age, weight, height in to analyze. Choose Options and select Mean, min and
max, Variance, Std. deviation and then continue. Hand in that table.

10. Graph a simple scatterplot with weight as dependent (Y), age as independent (X) and gender as marker. Is the data linear (as one goes up so does the
other?) Indicate whether the data is linear or non-linear in the title. Hand in the graph.

11. Graph a histogram for age. Display the normal curve. Then do this again and add gender as a column. Hand in the graphs.

12. Choose binary logistic regression. The dependent variable is HTN. Put age and weight as covariates. Choose Hosmer and Lemeshow as well as CI for
the statistics. Run it. You need to hand in the Variables in the equation table, the Contingency Table for Hosmer and Lemeshow Test, and the Hosmer
and Lemeshow Test table.

14. Go to Data and Select cases to choose if conditions are satisfied and in the next box select gender and insert = 1 then ok. Look at the data set. Now
analyze descriptives for weight and age including range, mean, standard deviation, variance, and minimum and maximum. Hand in.
