PLEASE READ AND FOLLOW ALL DIRECTIONS IN ORDER

1. Go to www.weebly.com.
2. In the box Sign Up Free, enter your name, WCPSS email address, and a password.
***Projects will only be scored if the WCPSS is used. If you have to use a personal account
because you do not know your WCPSS email, please remember that IT MUST BE CHANGED TO
WCPSS PRIOR TO FINAL SUBMISSION. Click Sign Up Free.
3. Choose the option for Site.

4. Choose a theme (This selection can be changed later.)

5. Choose Use a Subdomain of Weebly.com In the box, your portfolio should be named:
firstnamelastnameHHSco19 EXAMPLE: jasonkingHHSco19

6. Your homepage will ultimately be your own to customize. You must include the following: a
piece of personal art or photography, favorite quotes, a mission statement, and an About Me
paragraph that conveys goals and aspirations.
MAKE SURE YOU EDIT WHATEVER YOU PUT ON YOUR PAGE. THIS NEEDS TO REFLECT YOUR BEST
EFFORT, NOT YOUR MARGINAL, HALF-HEARTED, SLOPPIEST ATTEMPT TO FINISH THIS
ASSIGNMENT. Before you begin customizing, first hit PAGES on the toolbar.

7. Click on the box that says, Home. Replace Page Name with Courses. Click the Left
Arrow on the Left toolbar to go back to Page listings.

8. Then click on About. In the bottom of the toolbar, click on Delete Page. A window will
appear asking you to confirm the pages deletion. Click YES. Repeat this process for the
Contact page.

9. Click the Button that says, + Add. Create a Standard Page. Name the Page English.
Click Save in the top right of the toolbox.

10. You will be returned to the Pages list. You should now only have Home and English as
pages. Using your cursor, click and hold on English and drag the page tab slightly to the right
beneath the Courses tab. This will ensure that your English page is a tab on your homepage.
You can rinse and repeat this process for any additional pages you may add in the future.

11. Click Build at the top to return to your homepage. Click on Title and change it to
FirstName LastNames Digital Portfolio.

12. Hold your mouse over the Courses tab. You should see English appear. Click this tab.

13. Change the headline to English I Honors.

14. You will now begin adding content to your page. There are multiple options for how to
accomplish this goal. To add content, simply drag and drop the appropriate elements onto the

area of the page you want them to appear:

When adding content, always use the Title Element to label it appropriately.

15. To save your work, click Publish in top right of the page. ***WHEN THIS WINDOW
APPEARS, YOUR PAGE IS PUBLISHED. SIMPLY CLICK THE X IN THE TOP RIGHT OF
THE BOX.

***You may be prompted to verify your account. You will have to log-in to your student email
account to do so.

16. Here are the basic expectations/evidences/artifacts for the work you will be posting:
ENGLISH I Honors
3 Essays
1 SPES Assignment
1 Creative assignment (song, poem, speech, project, poster, etc)
Any 4 other works/writings from the semester (free-writes, discussion board screenshots,
additional SPES paragraphs, etc.)
17. When you are ready, click on the tab that says, Settings. Click on the link under Site
Address. This is your websites URL.

18. A tab will open with that page. Copy your sites URL from the toolbar at the top of your
page.

19. Go to www.turleyenglish.weebly.com. Click on English I. Then scroll towards the bottom of


that page and find the section titled Digital Portfolio.

20. Click on the Button that says, Portfolio Submission Form. Here, you will submit your name
and site URL. Your portfolio will not be graded unless it is submitted through this form.
Please only submit this form once.

EXEMPLAR STATUS: Exemplars are students who are willing to go above and beyond
the basic requirements and create a Digital Portfolio that encompasses their entire
academic experience. Exemplars will receive special recognition, and serve as models
for future students looking to develop portfolios.
Exceptionally fulfill all the requirements for the English I Honors page.
Create a page for each of your other classes under Courses.

Upload/utilize two artifacts from the other courses to demonstrate


skills/objectives attained in your studies across curricula.
