Project #2: Using Technology for

Formative Assessment
For this project you will use technology tools for assessing and
providing students with immediate feedback on learning outcomes.
Steps:
1. Begin by creating three objectives from your content area that are
measureable.
2. Come up with 2 test items for each objective, provide correct
responses for those items, and feedback that you would provide your
students for incorrect responses.
3. Using socrative to create your assessment.
4. Share SOC import code at the top of this page.
5. Upload this template to Edmodo Project #2.

How and when will students receive feedback on how well they
did on the formative assessment?

We will go over the answers after the quiz. This way I can see
how they did and they can learn why the correct answer is
correct.

I will most certainly use this program in my classroom. This is a great

way to utilize technology in the classroom because it allows the
students to use computers or phones. The students in my class get
really excited when the lesson or review is something other than the
usual paper handout. My students would also enjoy this because it
gets them to be competitive. This tool if used would increase learning
because it is something that kids today are familiar with. If you use
something like technology that they know quite well, they will be able
to remember things better because of their familiarity.
