refinery floods neighborhood

Another Hurricane Season Is Just Around the Corner, Yet St Bernard Parish Residents
fear the Murphy Oil Meraux Refinery is ill prepared.

Two not uncommon rain events in 2009 illustrate the problem, as one event in June '09
flooded a neighborhood and the other event in December '09 discharged oil in another
neighborhood canal.

What- if anything- is being done in the next 60 days to protect the community during
tropical weather and hurricanes ? Should a corporation be allowed to operate without
the capacity to handle rain ?
