Game Synopsis

Technologically advanced aliens are invading your home, choose your hero
and use their unique abilities to combat their weapons and drive them back!
Home Planet is a card game about a group of plant-like creatures who must defend their
planet against an invading force.
The goal of the game is to fight increasingly powerful enemies until the enemy deck has
been completely depleted.

Gameplay Mechanics Card Types

The Hero Card You are given a small selection of
heroes to choose from before starting the game.
Each has their own initial strengths.

The Enemy Card These cards are matched against your own in
order to determine the victor of the fight. The enemies shown on
these cards vary in strength and are uncovered in a random order.

The Mutation Card These are earned during the game and
provide your hero with extra power to help you defeat tougher
enemies.

Gameplay Mechanics Card Interaction

The game is played by revealing an enemy card
from the top of the deck and comparing its three
statistics to your heros. If the hero can overcome the
enemy using one of its abilities then it wins the fight and
the enemy card is discarded.

With the improvement in statistics that the

mutation card adds, the hero is able to defeat the
enemy card using its strength statistic.

The first in a small group of unique plant-like creatures,

this character is known for its immense speed and
manoeuvrability around its natural forest environment.
It uses its long limbs to nimbly swing from branches and
vines and take enemies by surprise.

Strength Character Biography

The second in a small group of plant-like creatures, it is

known for its thick trunk-like limbs and impressive
overall body strength.
It often uses the environment against its enemies by
ripping up chunks of its surroundings and hurling them.

Enemy Alien Character Biography

This bizarre creature is part of a larger invading force

bent on wiping out the planets population and exploiting
its natural resources. They meld themselves with metal
and machinery in order to support their frail bodies in
unfamiliar conditions.
They are known to be unpredictable and prone to lashing
out viciously at foes.
The species has no vision and instead relies on its
superior hearing and shrieking to effectively map out its
surroundings and identify enemies.
