Increase in Admiistrative Overhead Rate Based on DOLE 18-A for Housekeeping & With reference to the memo on policy on the awarding of manpower service contracts issued by the office of the ALI-CFO last February 10, 2010, this is to recommend an increase in the administrative overhead rate from the existing six percent (6%) to a minimum of ten percent (10%) of the total monthly salary in compliance with the DOLE Department Order (DO) No. 18- A. (Please refer to attached “Annex A’). ‘As such, please find attached the updated standard cost template computation based on the work schedule of the housekeeping and grounds maintenance services that will be effective July 4, 2013, (Please refer to attached “Annex B’). The service contracts shall be for a period of three (3) years but renewable yearly based on the performance evaluation of the respective service providers using the agreed SLA rating. (Please refer to attached “Annex C’) In line with this increase, we were able to negotiate with the top 5 service providers a list of standard freebies for both housekeeping and grounds maintenance services that will result to either savings for large properties such as malls or as an added value/service for smaller properties and which will also ensure proper health care for their personnel due to the free health insurance coverage of minimum of P250 per head per month, The list includes tools & equipment for the use of the housekeeping and grounds maintenance service personnel.
