I worked at Superdrug, Windsor, as part of my school work experience programme.

After only 5 days of work experience I am fully proficient in all aspects of cash
handling and can carry out both price checks and event counts. I also thoroughly enjoy
interacting with the general public.

Having spent some time working in the stores perfume department I am now familiar
with the 5 key stages that are essential for successful perfume selling.

I am able to carry out shelve stocking proficiently, not only on the shop floor, but also
in the stores warehouse.

During my time on work experience I was credited on being able to pick up key skills
with ease and very quickly

JJB Sports, Slough 06/2010-07/2013

I worked at JJB Sports, Slough, for 3 years part time alongside school and sixth form as
a sales assistant and weekend department supervisor.

This branch of JJB Sports was the flagship store for the South of England, therefore
upon employment with the company, I carried out 9 days of out of store training
focusing on all aspects of retail work.

Also I have had the privilege to be trained by Brand representatives of Nike, Nike I.D,
Adidas and Asics about their products, and how to sell them.

As part of my job role, I learnt how to print football t-shirts manually, and am
comfortable with the use of all types of printing irons and all size and material t-shirt.

I was also given the role of weekend supervisor of the 2nd biggest department in the
store which was the football department, for my organizational, communicational and
leadership qualities, looking over a team of 2/3 colleagues.

I have a deep understanding with the mechanics of the feet and have good
knowledge of pronation of the foot arches as I was trained by representatives of the
shoe care brand Sof Sole in how to sell and understand their products.

I consider myself to have gained a number of key communication skills which have
given me great confidence in leading colleagues, being a valued member of a team
and also being able speak to costumers ensuring them the best customer service
possible.

Working as part of a major sports retailer I believe has given me a well-rounded and
deep understanding of all the different aspects of various sports and sporting brands.

In July 2013 the Slough flagship branch of JJB sports closed down as the company went
into administration.

Southampton Football Club, Southampton 06/2014 - Current

To supplement my studies, whilst in my first year at university I managed to secure a

position as a ticket office assistant at Premier League football club Southampton FC.

On a day to day basis I carry out administrative office work. These tasks include things
such as data entry, replying to e-mails, answering inbound and giving outbound phone
calls.

Being given these roles within a fast pace office has allowed me to become completely
confident and proficient in providing an elite level of service when dealing with
customers, be it over the phone, via email or in person.

Part of the job role initials providing excellent customer service as part of the team
who often are the very first line of contact too the thousands of fans who support the
club.

Selling tickets and being a customer services representative on match days and nonmatch days, I believe has improved my communication and interpersonal skills as well
as my customer service abilities.

Selling hospitality packages to the clubs many corporate clients and providing them
with the outstanding service and experience that they expect.
After a season at the club, I was given the role as mentor to new staff that joined the
team, carrying out training on the Talent Ticketing Program which is a well-recognized
ticketing system used by football clubs across the country. I also train new members
of staff in day to day office roles, such as developing appropriate phone and e-mail
etiquette and understanding what is required when providing customer service.

Being trusted with all these roles has given me great assurance in my ability in being
able to handle pressure and being proficient when dealing with responsibilities when
working either individually or as part of a wider team.
