for taxpayers who qualify.
The Will County Low Income Tax Assistance
Coalition (LITAC) sponsors several VITA sites
in Will County. Sites are staffed by IRS certified
volunteers and offer FREE federal & state return preparation & FREE electronic filing.

This service is available for those

who earn up to $54,000 per year
WHAT TO BRING:
Photo identification for yourself and spouse
Social Security cards or Individual Taxpayer Identification notices/
cards for you, your spouse, and all dependents
Birth dates for you, spouse and all dependents on the return
For homeowners, a copy of your most recent tax bill
Wage and earning statements (Form W-2, W-2G, 1099-G,
1099-R,1099-Misc) from all employers/payors
Tuition statement (Form 1098-T) for yourself or dependents
Interest and dividend statements (1099-INT and 1099-DIV)
A copy of last years federal and state returns, if available
Bank account routing and account numbers for direct deposit
Total paid for daycare and the daycare providers tax ID number
such as their Social Security number or business EIN
Forms 1095-A, B or C, Affordable Health Care Statements
To file taxes electronically on a married-filing-joint tax return, both
spouses must be present to sign the required forms
