Area HR Manager

PROFILE:
A minimum of 2 years experience in a
generalist in a HR management position
(ideally in a multinational retailer with several
stores in India)
Good image and presentation skills
Between 26 and 36 years old

MISSION AND RESPONSABILITIES:

REPORTING TO
Retail HR Manager + HR Director

In charge of 5 to 7 stores.; Transmit the Zara values, policies and culture; Create a positive
environment and influence actively the leadership style of the Store Managers
MAIN DUTIES:
Create and develop HR strategies: Identify, analyze and anticipate present\future problems and
is able to develop HR strategies to support the business ; Develop action plans, propose and
strategically implementation of the same
Training and Development: Apply existing Training Programs defined by the company; Identify
training needs and act proactively by designing and implementing new related projects
Recruitment: Apply recruitment methods and tools for new staff hiring new staff (From SA/CA
to Managerial Levels); Anticipate Recruitment needs and act proactively.
Organize New Stores Openings in own zone: Plan number of staff per store and per
department + definition of related ideal Rotas; Design and development of Recruiting and Training
Programs (individual and in group); organize and held Induction Courses
Promotion and Succession Planning: Identify internal talent and suggests promotion
accordingly; Proposal, organization and follow up of succession plans; Evaluate employees in
technical terms and soft skills ; create development plans on the basis of an evaluation, give
feedback and correct follow up.
Organization: Creates and controls hours budget for own stores; Analysis and adjustment of
the stores Rotas according to the needs of the business.
C&B: Apply Compensation and Benefits Policies according to the companys rules. Knows labor
relations, basic labor law, Contracts and all related issues to Hygiene and Security.

ACADEMIC BACKGROUND:
University degree. Postgraduate studies in
HR would be valued.

Fluent local language and English

OTHER KNOWLEDGE:
PC skills (MS Office, advanced level)
