DEFECT LIST (ELECTRICAL)

A.

LT SWITCHGEAR

1. Tie breaker at U-5 end is not available; therefore tie breaker at U-4 end is kept OFF.
2. Many indicating lamp covers, holders etc are missing in switchgear modules.
B. MOTORS
1. The cable termination in vacuum pump motors is not proper. Lugs are not properly
crimped, washers are not used in TB, and wherever washers are used MS washers are
used instead of copper washers.
2. Earthing cable lug crimping is not proper.
C. SERVICE TRANSFORMER
1. Control cable is laid through a GI conduit, same is to be laid properly through cable
trench and tray.
2. Proper cable trench may be made for power cable.
3. Control cable glands are not fixed properly.
4. Paint condition very poor. Same was informed during commissioning also.
5. Transformer drawing and test certificates not given.
6. Neutral point not earthed.
7. Breather gasket bad, oil cup missing.
8. Three nos nut/bolt missing in HT terminal box.
