Overview:
Six Wheaton College students designed this trip to learn about faith, vocation, and calling in
the business and financial hubs of Chicago and New York City. Through 45-60 minute
meetings with professionals in the marketplace, we hope to gain insight into the diverse
ways of living out Christian faith in these fields. This trip is NOT with the intention of
gaining employment or internship opportunities but rather with the objectives listed
below.

transition from college to the workforce
o Apply knowledge from this trip and insure that the classes we are enrolling
in are preparing us for the current market

Participant Bios:
David Clark is a sophomore from Rockford, MN studying economics and international
relations. He is the fundraiser for Student Government, the assistant captain of the hockey
team, and a member of the Investment Club. He is interested in economic development-particularly micro finance--and social entrepreneurship. David spent two months teaching
English to Palestinian refugees in Amman, Jordan during his gap year, and has traveled to
over 35 countries.
Julia Wittrock is a junior studying business and economics. Growing up in Minnesota,
Julia always knew she wanted to pursue a career in business. She hopes to create value by
making business-to-business interactions more efficient and effective through a career in
business-to-business sales or supply chain management. She will get a taste for this type of
work this summer when she is employed as a supply chain analyst intern at Polaris, Inc.
Anna Morris: A sophomore from Stillwater, MN, Anna Morris is a driven millennial
studying International Relations and French. Passionate about the fields of micro finance,
social entrepreneurship and development, Anna is compelled by using business as a means
to break the poverty cycle. Previously having held editorial positions on her high school
and college newspapers and serving as president of her local Amnesty International
chapter, Anna seeks to find the intersections of advocacy, media, and global affairs. Inspired
by her international travelling, her work with refugees, and her passion for empowering
women, Anna aims to devote her work to serving the vulnerable in Christs kingdom.
Taylor Schuster is a sophomore from Fond du Lac, Wisconsin studying economics and
computer science. He is a member of the Tech and Finance Committee of Student
Government, the business manager of the sophomore class, a member of the Investment
Club, and the drummer for the class worship band. Taylor is interested in and wishes to
learn more about the field of financeparticularly private equity and venture capitalism
as well as the tech industry. He completed a sales internship this past summer at a car
dealership in which he sold thirty vehicles.
Josh Rowley is a freshman from Des Moines, Iowa studying Business and Economics. He is
currently serving as the freshman class president and is a member of the Education Policy
Committee of Student Government. He is considering pursuing a career in
entrepreneurship or finance. An avid runner, Josh is also training for the Boston Marathon
this upcoming April. Having taken mission trips to Mongolia and Honduras in the past, Josh
intends to pursue more short-term opportunities in the future.
Andy Suk is a sophomore from San Jose California, and is currently majoring in
communications and economics. Employed by the Wheaton student activities media team,
Andy produces film and photographs for college advertising purposes. In addition, he owns
his own business, Andes Photography, where he takes pictures and video for various
events, including weddings and concerts. He is interested in topics such as
entrepreneurship, marketing, and investment. Andy enjoys travel, as he has spent the past
four summers in China documenting income inequality and faith depravity through media.
