Summary of the Article

The FBI is trying to unlock the iPhone of the San Bernardino shooter in
an attempt to track him down. However, Apple is reluctant to cooperate with
the FBI over the issue of whether the FBI is trying to violate the first
amendment, leaving the FBI to seek a court order to force Apple to help. This
situation, however, could have been avoided if the iPhone had a mobile
device management software on the device (Whittaker, 2016). If the
software was installed, the IT department at Mobilelron, the group who made
this software, could have unlocked the phone without trying to figure out the
password. IT Administrators would manage data on iPhones without the user
plus passwords could be reset if the password was forgotten.
Google vs. Bing
The two search engines I used were Google and Bing. In order to find
other articles related to the topic of the article I picked, I used the keywords
Fight, Apple, FBI, and Avoided. The two articles I picked from Google
were FBI battle over locked iPhone could have been avoided with a $4 piece
of software from bgr.com and Apple Says FBI Encryption Battle Could Have
Been Avoided from newsy.com. When I searched for the same results using
the same keywords on Bing, I couldnt find the same two articles. Instead, I
found articles that still related to what I was looking for but I couldnt find the
two articles on Bing that I found on Google. Both search engines have their
bots that store keywords into their own domain. Each index represents how a
search engine read the web. Since both Google and Bing have different bots
storing keywords in their domain, then both search engines will come up with
different results.
TRAAP
The article I decided to TRAPP was FBI battle over locked iPhone could
have been avoided with a $4 piece of software, which was written on
February 23, 2016 at 1:26 pm with no updates. This article is related to the
original article I found since they are both how the situation couldve been
avoided if the iPhone had a piece a software that would allow Apple to reset
the password for the FBI. The authors name is Yoni Heisler who is qualified
to write this article since he already has experience writing technology
articles that have even appeared in Edible Apple itself. Im not exactly sure if
this article has been tested for accuracy, but I do believe the information is
trustworthy because the information is backed about by CBS News, which is

a reliable source. This article was written to inform readers on the situation
between the FBI and Apple with material objective and no bias.
The CCBC Library Journal Articles
The three keywords I used for the search was FBI, against, and
Apple. The database I used was LexisNexis because it was the only
database where I could find scholarly articles on my topic. The two pictures I
took are for the article are Tim Cook refuses order to help unlock terrorosts
iPhone 5c from Network World, the 2nd article, and Mobile Security Is at
Stake in Apple-FBI Case, the 7th article.

Comparison
The two articles I will compare are FBI battle over locked iPhone could
have been avoided with a $4 piece of software from the internet and
Mobile Security Is at Stake in Apple-FBI Case from LexisNexis Academic.
The easiest one to find was the internet article. The only thing I had to do
was go to Google and search for FBI vs. Apple and the article was at the
top of the first page. Finding the same topic at the CCBC Library felt like I
was pulling out teeth; I tried looking on multiple different databases just to
find one article, and I was lucky to find LexisNexis Academic or else I would
have to find a whole new topic and re-start the project. Both articles were
written recently and werent published that far off from each other. The
internet journal was published February 23rd while the journal article was
published February 26th. The author of the internet article is Yoni Heisler and
is believed to be qualified because of the experience he has experience with
writing internet articles about technology on different technology websites.
The author of the journal article is Cherian Abraham; he specializes in Digital
Commerce for experian.com and publishes detailed reports on payment and
commerce topics, making qualified for writing this journal.
