OBJECTIVES:
On this project I wanted to create a brochure that would help to promote an event
for a super car ride along.
PROCESS:
The first step that I had to do for this project was to get out a piece of paper and
sketch out a design. I had to also look on the Internet for some ideas on what I
wanted to do for my design layout. Once I found an idea that would work for me
I started to layout the design on InDesign. I first put on my layout where I was
going to place my images and my text. The next step was to put in my images and
text. Then I had to make about 20 black and white prints to make sure that all of
my images were lined up straight once I made all my folds on the brochure. I had
four different critiques through out the entire process. I used a number of different skills with this project such as: InDesign, alignment, typography, and color
choice.

OBJECTIVES:
My idea for this project was to create a letterhead and a business card for
Auto Imports.
PROCESS:
I first had to draw up some sketches of the design that I wanted to create.
Once I had the idea of the design I created my letterhead and business
card on Adobe Illustrator and Adobe InDesign. I had two different critique
sessions to help my refine my final project.

OBJECTIVES:
I create a spiritual montage that would incorporate multiple images to look as if it was
one image.
PROCESS:
First I searched the web for the images that I would use in my montage. I placed my
first image of the galaxy. For this image I used a couple of different filter tools to
enhance the image to bring out the colors more. Second I placed the picture of the
hands. I used the brush tool to blend the image in with the picture of the galaxy,
that way it did not look pasted on there. Third I placed the picture of the earth to
make it look like that the hands were holding the earth. I used the blending tool
to make the earth look like that it was part of the galaxy. I wanted all three
images to look like that they were supposed to one cohesive image. I
placed the text right aligned to the right side so that the message
would grab you attention.

OBJECTIVES:
PROCESS :
I used a high quality digital camera to capture the picture that I used in my poster.
Once I picked the picture that I wanted to use I used Photoshop to edit my image. This
took longer than what I had thought because Photoshop was new for me. After editing
my picture to how I wanted it I started to add the design into my poster. With the help
of multiple critiques I was able to find out design I wanted in the end.

OBJECTIVES:

PROCESS:
I first sketched out some simple ideas to get them on paper to get a physical idea of
what I wanted to do. I then created three different logos to then have people vote on
which ones they liked the best. Once I had gotten the feedback necessary I chose
the one that I would refine for my final logo. I designed the logo with three different
examples of what it would look like for different printer settings.

OBJECTIVES:
I wanted to helped promote this charity event to help inform the public.
PROCESS:
First I scanned an image of some fried chicken in a magazine and with Microsoft Word
I removed the background. I was then able to select which part of the image I wanted
to use. I chose to use a design that would stand out, but one that would not take away
from the main focus, which is the fried chicken. I used a triadic color scheme in my
design to help grab the attention of the audience. With this project I was able to learn
more about Microsoft Word and the design features that it has. I used Microsoft Word
and an Epson Scanner to complete my project.

OBJECTIVES:
I wanted to create a website that was colorful to match the logo that it went along
with. This helped to promote Tylers Table.
PROCESS :
I created this web page using only Text Wrangler. I had never seen or written any
HTML/CSS. I thought that I was not going to be able to complete this assignment
at first from looking at just the coding. After I was able to get the help that I need
through the professors instruction everything started to make sense. I had to use
a lot of trial and error in order to get the design that I was looking for. In order to
see how the changes made to the coding was going to effect the design I had to
constantly save my work and look at the web page. This turned out to be helpful in
knowing all of the little changes that I made each time. I used CSS to code in all
of my designs for my webpage.
