Course Description: The economics course provides students with a basic


foundation in the field of economics. The course has five sections: fundamental
concepts, microeconomics, macroeconomics, international economics, and personal
finance. In each area, students are introduced to major concepts and themes
concerning that aspect of economics. This is a traditional one semester course.

Project

The teacher reserves the right to deny any students exemption. EOCT and MIDTERM, and FINAL exams may
not be exempted. Exams may consist of a project, written exam, or combination. Midterm/Benchmark grades will
be placed into the EOCT grade as a placeholder until the Milestone can be taken.
Some events may accelerate the order of consequences resulting in immediate disciplinary action. The teacher reserves the right to administer
detentions or other appropriate disciplinary actions 1.
Students are expected to record/remember their logins and passwords for any account used during this course. It is not the responsibility of the
teacher to provide any such information.
Students are expected to respect school property (iPads, desks, learning materials, craft materials, etc.) and will be asked to replace any damaged or
lost items.
Students are expected to abide by the ethical principles laid out in the student handbook in their online/at-school interactions. Any misuse of school
technology that hinders learning or endangers another student will be reported to the appropriate administrator.

Make-up work
It is the students responsibility to ask for make-up work upon return. All make-up work, excused or unexcused must be completed
within five (5) school days unless an administrator grants an extension due to extreme circumstances.
All allowed make-up work must be submitted by the deadline.

1. Every student has the right to participate in the classroom without the disruption of inappropriate or uncooperative behaviors.
