World War 1 Starts!

After Archduke Franz Ferdinand was
killed, the long tension in Europe
broke and Austria- Hungary
declared war on Serbia. Serbia then
declared war on Austria-Hungary
and their allies stepped in to help.

the Lusitania is sunk!

The British passenger ship called
The Lusitania was sunk on May 7,
1915 by German submarines. This
set off a few dominos that lead to
the U.S. entering the war.
