aswellastheprogramsitoffers.Duetotheeverchangingnatureofthisuniversity,itis
verydifficulttokeeppace.Hence,theMarketingandCommunicationsDepartmentat
BloomsburgUniversitycouldbenefitgreatlyfromupdatesmadetotheuniversitys
website.Theopportunitywehavetosubmitaproposalinordertoupgradethe
BloomsburgUniversitywebsiteisveryappreciated.Weareconfidentthatwehavethe
skillsandknowledgeneededinordertocreateeffectiveadditionsandpreciserevisions
totheBloomsburgUniversitywebsite.Withyoursupport,wewillcreateandrevise
certainaspectsofthewebsitebasedontheneedsoftheMarketingand
CommunicationsDepartment.Basedonourpreliminarydiscussion,weidentifiedthe
specificneedsforthewebsite,andwewilladdressthepotentialsolutionsthroughour
involvementinthisproject.Asaresultofourefforts,thewebsitewillbestservethe

ordertogetprospectingstudentsandparentsexcitedaswellasinformedaboutthe
upcomingsummer/fallsemester.Thewebsiteisalsoinneedofanexpandeddigital
presence.Anupdatedwebsiteisvitalrequirementforanysystemofhighereducation
whilevarioussocialmediaplatformsarealsoneededinordertoprovideBloomsburg
Universityscommunitywithameansofconnecting,communicating,andsharing
experiences.

OurSolutions

Inthisdigitalage,asuiteofwebsitesandsocialmediaprofilesarenecessaryfor
educationaladvertisingandcommunicationalpurposes.Efficientwebsitematerialswill
providebothstudentsandparentstheaccurateresourcestheyneedforeducational
purposesaswellasawayforstudentstoconnectandcommunicatewiththe
BloomsburgUniversitycommunity.

Theorientationwebpagewillbetheprimarywebpresencefortheagencyandwill
directlyconnecttoalloftheBloomsburgUniversitypages.Itwillserveasa

IfBloomsburgUniversitysMarketingandCommunicationsDepartmentwouldliketogo
forwardwithourproposedwebsuite,thefollowingareourdatesforcompletion:

Ourteamorganizedtheinformationprovided,andwepreparedtostartthefirsttask
duringtheweekofMarch13th.Wewillcontinuetodevelopandmaintainwebbased
materialsforthenexttwomonths.ABetacopyofallmaterialswillbereadyforusability
testingbyApril1,2016andwillbecompletedbyApril15,2016.Activationofthenew
websuiteiscurrentlyscheduledforApril26,2016uponapprovalbyourcourse
supervisorandclient.

Cost

SinceourteammembersarecurrentBloomsburgUniversitystudents,wehavethe
obstacleofbalancingthisprojectwithotheracademicrequirements.Ourproject
deadline,April26,2016,isalsoalimitation.Despitethechallengesweface,weare
preparedtomeetalldeadlinesagreeduponwithenthusiasm.However,thiswillrequire
administratorstomeetwithusinordertoapproveourdocumentsorinformusabout
necessarychanges.AcceptingthisproposalwillonlycosttheBloomsburgUniversity
CommunicationsandMarketingDepartmenttimeinexchangeforamodernizedand
userfriendlywebsite.

Qualifications

JessicaShiptoski,theProjectManager,iscurrentlyasenioraccountingmajorwitha
minorinprofessionalwritingandaconcentrationinfraudexamination.Sheisan
OrientationWorkshopLeader(OWL),theVicePresidentofAdministrationsforthe
StudentAssociationofFraudExamination(SAFE),andtheTreasurer,forthepasttwo
years,oftheEquestrianTeam(BUET).InWinter2015,sheinternedwiththe
BloomsburgUniversityMarketingandCommunicationsDepartment.Thereshe
practicedrhetoricalstrategiesfromaninternetplatformandgainedvaluableknowledge
oftheimplicationsinvolvedinwritingfortheinternet.Forthisproject,sheoffersher
Orientationobjectivebackground,practicalexperiencesinwritingforawebpage,
timemanagementandcommunicationskills,andloyaltytotheclientandherteam.

LeahSanson,theTechnicalandTrainingManager,iscurrentlyaseniorEnglishmajor
withaminorinprofessionalwriting.Shehastakenvariouscoursesthathasledtothe
indepthknowledgeofrhetoric,structuresoftheEnglishlanguage,andtheanalysesof
manydifferentworksofliterature.ShecurrentlyworksattheBloomsburgUniversity
WritingCenterasawritingconsultantandisthememberofitsHumanResources
Committee.Thisrequiresbothpeerediting,workingefficiently,andcollaboratingwith
others.Throughoutherexperiences,shehasalsolearnedabouttheimportanceof
technologyandhowtoeffectivelywriteintodaysdigitalworld.Herotherhobbies
includebeingthePresidentoftheNationalHonorsEnglishSociety,SigmaTauDelta.
