THIS CAUSE came before the Court on April 11, 2016 , upon the Intervenors
Motion to Unseal all Judicial Records Currently Filed Under Seal, dated
March 21, 2016. Appearing before the Court were Kenneth Turkel and Shane Vogt,
attorneys for the Plaintiff; Rachel Fugate, attorney for the Defendant, Gawker; and
Robert Rogers and Allison Steele, attorneys for the Intervenors. The Court has
considered the Motion, argum ent of counsel and is otherwise duly advised in the
premises and therefore it is hereby

accordance with Florida Rule of Judicial Administration 2.240.
In closing, the Court would like to remind counsel of their ethical obligations
under the Professionalism Expectations adopted by the Florida Bar Board of
Governors on Jan u ary 30, 2015, 5.10 A Lawyer should attem pt to resolve
disagreements before requesting a court hearing. Preparing for-hearings in this case
takes a trem endous am ount of time, not only for the parties, b u t also for the Court.
To prepare for this hearing the Court compared the requested, item s with the items
that have already been published by the Second District Court of Appeals and with the
items previously unsealed by this Court. If the parties and intervenors agree on
various issues, there is no need to schedule hearing time, simply subm it an order with
a cover letter expressing the agreement.
