- Welcome the students and ask them the date of today and ask if they are re
to the class.
- Explain them about what they have to do today.

Guided Experience (group working with the teacher)

Activity one: ( spell the word and writing)

In this activity, teacher will ask children who can spell the word and
write it in the smart book.
Student will check his/her writing and other students focus on the
board and if the student wrote the word in error teacher will choose
another student to correct the word.
Note: children will be able to correctly a word when asked.
Independent Experience (small group activity 1) Low group

Materials: 3 jars/boxes, picture cards, white board, list of the spellin
words.

Instructions:
- Teacher explains the activity and models it.
- Students' work: one child has taken a card and match the pictu
card with correct sound word (wh, ph, sh) then another child ha
to write the word of the picture card on the white board. (in pa
- Fast checklist and evaluate their writing the spelling words.
Independent Experience(small group activity 2) (Middle level)

Match the sound with correct word and write it

Materials: cards, markers.
Instructions:
- First of all, teacher will explain the activity and will give two ca
pictures.(individually)
- As whole class, teacher will explain the activity and will give
several card pictures (brothers/sisters) + worksheet with blank
for each student to write the number of both brothers/sisters o
- In group one ( 4 /5 students) for example, will take a card with
the number of brother/sister written on own picture and one of
them choose 1 girl to ask "How many brothers do you have?" an
partner look at the number of brothers she has and answers in
" I have two brothers".
- Each group has 4 answers with different students.

Independent Experience(small group activity 3)

Draw a line + Find the words
Materials: workbook p.14 and p.15
Instructions:
Page 14.

First, teacher will explain the activity (draw a line from A to B t

C) and show them how to draw a line (individually)
They will start drawing with lines teacher and complete it by
themselves.
After that teacher will check their lines by showing the picture
the end on the board and ask them if it is a baby or not.

Students are done of the activities. Teacher will devised two groups girls and
boys to evaluate them and say the word orally then chooses one child from e
group (girls group and boys group) to write the word correctly by using smart
board

- Check their work in 3 the activities by asking questions and walk around to ch
their answers.
- Provide them the appropriate feedback.
