Picture-Perfect Integrated Science Co-Teaching Lesson Plan and Teaching


Reflection; for this lesson I created and taught a science lesson with my
classmates.

How does this artifact demonstrate your competency in meeting this


objective?

This Lesson Plan demonstrates my ability to co-teach along with my


classmates and peers. We utilized the Next Generation Science Standards
along with the Picture Perfect Science Lessons to create a lesson that we
modeled for our classmates which incorporated math and ELA Common Core
content. I was able to collaborate with my colleagues to promote growth, build
a safe positive learning climate with mutual respect and support.

How does the artifact inform your thinking about teaching? Include any
other reflections and/or comments.

Through teaching this lesson I was able to modify my instruction to meet the
needs and strengths of my colleagues as well as for the future students the
lesson was geared to teach. I learned multiple ways to demonstrate new
knowledge and skills and how to adjust and revise my plans for teaching.
