Tech Policies


Sanctuary A/V Instructions:

Turn on lights near main entrance.

Turn on two power strips underneath ProPresenter5 (PP5) laptop.

Turn on power strip in rack underneath audio console (Soundcraft Si
Impact).

Turn on the two power amplifiers in rack under audio console (top one is
main PA, bottom one is monitor speaker for choir).

Turn on powered monitor speaker for keyboard player.

Get out necessary wireless bodypacks/handhelds and put in new 9v batteries
from the brick of batteries underneath the console.

Turn on and test microphones after battery replacement.

Turn on projector using the On button on the remote control for it.

Bring screen down with the switch on the wall behind the tech booth.

Worship Presentation laptop: Make sure power adapter is plugged in.

After power adapter is plugged in, start up Worship Presentation and login.

Plug in the correct video out cable (VGA Cable with a AppleDisplay Adapter
in this case) and the correct USB cable for the Lexicon Alpha Audio I/O device
(this is where any audio from PP5 will come out of the laptop from) into the
Worship Presentation Laptop.

Turn on Confidence Monitor which is a small display for the choir to see
what is displaying on the projector.

Turn on large TV display in Narthex, this also is a mirror image of what gets
displayed out of the projector.

Turn on TVs behind Lecturn.




For Worship Services:

Make sure announcements are running in PP5 pre-service.

Test all videos and audio before services that will need to be played.

Make sure house music is running pre-service. (Calvarys iPod is Velcro-ed to
the side of the rack that the Soundcraft Audio Console is on top of) The audio
inputs are on the second layer of inputs on the Audio Console. (Please refer
to manual for bouncing through layers on console).

There is usually a countdown, please confirm and check it.

To record sermons on the Tascam Dr-40 handheld recorder in the sanctuary,
press the record button once to arm and second time to start recording. Stop
recording by pressing the stop button twice.

The manual for the EIKI Projector and also the Soundcraft Digital Audio
Console are in the rack underneath the console for any other refereneces or
troubleshooting needs.

After you are done with the facility please shut down the entire system
in full reverse of setup please.
