D. ASSIGNMENT

1. Please calculate hold up volume of gas in between two Isolation Valves of 3km
apart for all the pipe sizes.
2. Envisage rupture in line covering 2, 4, 6, 8, 10 and 12 in the hold-up
segment.
3. Calculate the gas discharge and associate fire including radiant flux profile with
respect to radial distance from the rupture locations.
