a slice of tomato, and two halves of a hamburger bun out of the kitchen cabinet.
Child A looks up to teacher and says Were in the kitchen. Child A turns to their
right and says to peer Im making a sandwich. Child A places the sandwich
contents on the wooden table, then turns to the cabinet. Child A takes a can of
baked beans and two small hot dogs that are in mini buns out of the cabinet,
placing these objects onto the stove top. Child A turns the knobs of the oven and
pulls the oven door down. Child A places the can of baked beans and two small hot
dogs into the oven. Child A closes the oven door. Child A kneels down on both knees
and gets a red pot out of the drawer and places the red pot in the sink. Child A
moves the red knob for the sink. Child A says Im washing dishes. Child A places
the red pots lid into the sink. Child A uses a white, square rag to go over the dishes
in the sink. Child A places the pot onto the stovetop. Child A puts the lunch meat
into the red pot, then places the lid onto the red pot. Child A takes the red pot to
another child and says does the baby want lunch? Child A points to the baby in
the crib and whispers to two other children sleeping baby. Child A picks the baby
up from the crib and makes a cry noise come from their mouth. Child A pats the
babys back while holding the baby on their chest, then hands the baby to another
child. Child A picks up a polar bear from the crib and moves hands through doll
clothing bin. Child A says I want to dress the bear to their self. Child A looks at the
child standing next to Child A and says I want a blue shirt for the bear. Child A
tells the other child who placed a pink shirt on the bear that looks like a girl. Put
the blue shirt on baby. Child A backs away, forming an open mouth and squinted
eyes, crossing arms and cries (lasts almost 1 minute). Teacher asks Child A what is
wrong and redirects Child A to a different doll by pointing to it. Child A picks up the
doll sitting on the wooden chair, and says wah, wah, wah. Child A holds doll up
and tells teacher His name is Kaden. He needs clothes so he wont be cold. Child A
asks the specialist staff member to put the blue shirt on and puts the baby and
blue shirt in the specialists lap. Child A watches the doll as the specialist puts the
blue shirt on the doll. Child A takes the doll from the specialist, then places the doll
into the sink. The child takes the red pot off the stovetop, opens the oven door, and
puts the red pot into the oven, and closes the oven door. The child screams OW
and slams their forehead off the wooden stove top three times. When asked by the
specialist why Child A slammed their head, Child A says my brain isnt working.
