For the first set of ted talks, student were given the choice to choose between
what really matters at the end of life presented by BJ Miller, and Philosophy of life which
is presented by Sam Burns. We were told briefly about both speakers.
I chose to go with what matters at the end of life by BJ Miller. From what
weve been told, I was more interested to watch rather than philosophy of life. The reason
I decided to watch what really matters at the end of life is because weve been told BJ
Miller is older than Sam Burns. Thus I thought he might be more deep with his thoughts,
stories, and what hes saying. Thats because I really believe with the importance of
experience. Moreover, the title of the talk itself caught my attention more. Talking on by
behalf Im a man that really focuses on the result, and the end of everything, Which
means Id go all the way with my plans and see what I wants a seeks for, then plan what I
should do to reach it. The title of the ted talk is what matters at the end of life which
sets your mind to the results, the end.
BJ Miller went in a really touching story when he was in the university where

due to it; he lost part of his body. Part of his body died. However this experience made
him appreciate the very small things in life, appreciate every breath. His thoughts were
really deep, yet so simple. According to him the most important thing is to find
something to live for, something to draw a smile on your face.
