EXPERIENCE

Obtain a professional degree and become successful in a stimulating and challenging career, building
toward success of a corporation.
The leadership positions I held in METSA required competency using various MS programs that
facilitate organization of databases and project management. This experience developed fundamental
skills that will enable me to succeed in the workforce.

CONSTRUCTION ADMINSTRATOR /EXPERT [JANUARY, 2015 PRESENT (PART-TIME)]

GOAL: Steward (conducting, supervising, and managing) for construction contacts between
business owners and contractors.
Responsible for reviewing and processing contractor product data submittals.
Processing the contractors Request for Information (RFIs) dealing with certain aspects of the
building.
Mediating and facilitating construction site tours used to address architectural-related questions.
Responsible for reviewing architectural drawings and matching certain aspects with appropriate
reference points.
Responsible for designing with the building architect certain aspects of buildings including interior
and exterior designs.
Review marketing proposals from potential partner companies about using their products in the
design phase of the project
Responsible for reviewing of all aspects of the building contract with the client.
Presented PowerPoint to address questions that architects have on certain buildings.
Writing summary reports on the progress of the contract.
Ensure the contractors are compliant with the building materials and are meeting project budgets.

MATH, ENGINEERING, TECHNOLOGY AND SCIENCE ACADEMY (METSA, 2012-2015) This


academy encourages and develops students in active collaboration, building skills and knowledge,
critical thinking/problem solving, presentation skills, research skills, social and cross-cultural skills,
technology literacy, work ethic and effort, and writing skills encountered in STEM careers. I was
selected by application and teachers recommendations to be part of this academy which opened-up
many opportunities for me to take on leadership positions.

METSA ROCKETRY CLUB (in collaboration with Ignite Systems Go, 2012-2015). During my 3 years
as captain, I was responsible for managing the annual challenge posed by Ignite Systems. In 20122013, the challenge was to build a rocket that would go 1 mile with bought materials. For 2013-2014,
the challenge was to build a rocket that would go 1 mile with homemade materials only and the 20142015 challenge was to build a supersonic rocket (mock) only using handmade materials. My
responsibilities during his tenure included building a team based on student skills, performance on a
pre-test and their interpersonal skills. I was a selected individual by SystemsGo to present to a NASA
engineer team the rocket design. SystemsGo recognized my innovation and leadership efforts with
monetary awards (Fredericksburg, Texas). Learned and applied 3D graphic rendering skills (SketchUp,
Revit) to my rocket project.

METSA FAST-TRACK CLUB (collaboration with NASCAR and the US Army, 2012-2015). I lead the
marketing team to raise money by creating presentations and fliers to gain sponsorships for the
creative engineering design team to manufacture a car that would win an endurance race. I was also
part of the creative engineering team for two years (2012, 2013) that was responsible for designing a
Peltier radiator cooling system to help dissipate the heat generated by the motor so that the battery
would last and win the endurance race for the 2013 race. The US Army recognized my leadership and
innovation with monetary awards.

COMPUTER COMPENTENCIES (2012-2015) Auto-desk inventor (3D CAD software), MS Office


Specialist (certified by a web-based test). Competent using Microsoft Word, Excel, Project, Google
Drive).
HONORS SOCIETIES. Based on my GPA and teacher recommendation, I was selected to the National
Honor Society (2011- current) and National Math Honors Society (2012, Mu Alpha Theta, )
NEW TECH NETWORK (2013-2015). Our HS was one of the schools that practiced NTN, a projectbased learning system unlike a traditional classroom. I was selected by teachers recommendations to
represent our HS in conferences and school tours.
SERVICE AWARD (2014) - Student Service Learning hours (190) not mandatory for Texas HS;
volunteered in Dallas homeless shelter, fire department, and mechanic shop.
NEXT WORLD WIDE (2014) CONFERENCE. I was selected to attend the leadership conference in
Banff, Ontario. The conference seminars focused on developing the leadership skills needed for
effective leadership qualities such as influencing others outside your group, dealing with difficult people
and effective project management

classes and an elective), then I work at Road Runner Sports on a part-time basis. Ive currently applied
for admission at several reputable universities. My current GPA is 3.72 (un-weighted) and 4.4
(weighted) and a 2100 on the SAT and a 27 on the ACT
