Food for Thought

Every child is an individual. Why is it important to learn about each

child?

Children are thinking, moving, feeling, and interacting human beings.

Why teaching them involves considering and fostering their development and learning in the physical, social and emotional, and cognitive
domain?

Food for Thought

Assessments should be conducted on a regular basis.
Assessments do not have to be used to determine how smart a

child is; they can also be a good tool for teachers. Knowing what

children dont know or are having difficulty with, can sometimes

be more important than what they know.

Dear Staff, This month we celebrate the Islamic New Year. In the face of
current events, it is more important than ever to teach young minds to be
tolerant and not stereotype. Let's teach our students how we are all alike

Teachers must be aware of what is happening in their classrooms at all

matter how small they might seem. If you want your children to trust you,
you must always be willing to listen to them and attend to their needs.

Rules are an essential part of a classroom. Having rules does not mean
kids should not have fun. On the contrary, having rules ensures that

kids have fun, but in a safe manner. So if you want a classroom where
everyone respects each other, every teacher should implement rules
starting the first day of class.
