LIMITATIONS

1.
Limitations of the Research: In spite of best of efforts to minimise all limitations that
might creep in course of the research, there were certain constraints within which
the research was completed. These are discussed below
1. The research was based on secondary as well as primary data. The primary data
required for research objective No. 3 was collected from the samples based in
Guwahati city. Although Guwahati is one of the most important cities of the country
and a commercial hub of North East India, samples selected from the city cannot be
considered as a proper representation of the population of the country.
However, the objective of the survey was to check the mood/perception of the bank
managers as well as customers of the bank with regard to the concept of Universal
banking. Thus, this may not create hindrance in achieving the desired objective
even if Guwahati city cannot replicate other major banking hubs of the country.
2. For primary data, non response error cannot be ruled out.

2.
The limitations of this research are only those students that are currently enrolled at XU and is
having the prescribe study load for a given semester. Only those undergraduate education
students are allowed to participate in the research.
This study considered only Xavier University and the students of it. This may have an
effect on the generalizability of the study and its findings. However, its findings, at least some
portion and extent of it may still hold true to other schools possessing the same characteristics
or adhering to the same educational vision, mission, objectives, and curricula of the studies of
Xavier University.

LIMITATIONS OF THE STUDY

The researcher has made sincere attempt to study the marketing of Banking services, The
following are considered as the limitations of the study

1.This study is limited to marketing mix of banking services

2.Many respondents did not like to reveal their interest in answering questions.
3.Most of the respondents were unwilling to reveal information about their financial
status.
4.Due to time and financial constraint, complete enumeration methods has not been
followed.
5.Many respondents hesitate to give information about their possession of physical
evidence.
6.The datas are collected, only from the people, who are account holders in the bank.
7.Sample size is also small so the conclusion may not reflect the total customer at
Tiruchengodu Town.
4.
Limitations of the Study
This study will focus on the youth of Los Angeles County that are referred to
for substance abuse treatment. The Adolescent Intervention, Treatment, and
Recovery (AITRP) system of care outpatient facilities will be examined in this paper.
There are twelve agencies contracted by ADPA, and their treatment program
services are located in twenty-five treatment facilities throughout the county. A
majority of youth and families involved in the programs are low-income people of
color.
The treatment agencies are contracted by ADPA and the programs offer a
variety of treatment approaches. Some agencies will utilize more clinical and
mental health approaches to treatment. There are other agencies that will apply
more youth development or Twelve Step (Alcoholics Anonymous, Narcotics
Anonymous) treatment modalities. This study will not distinguish nor address the
differences in the treatment administered by the agencies. This research will
instead examine the data of youth coming from all the AITRP treatment facilities

anonymously and will examine the generalized effects of AITRP system of care
treatment.
The data collection is limited to pre and post test surveys completed by
treatment counseling staff/case managers. The instrument utilized is the Los
Angeles County Participant Registration System (LACPRS). This instrument records
the following client data at treatment admission: age, gender, educational level,
corrections or juvenile justice involvement, referral source, primary drug, secondary
drug, pregnant, mental health treatment, length of treatment, and frequency of
AOD use. At client discharge, the following data is collected: whether or not client is
AOD abstinent, satisfactory or unsatisfactory discharge. This data collection
instrument does not provide clear definitions of satisfactory or unsatisfactory
treatment.
The data collection will be collected and interpreted by agency staff.
Treatment completion will be interpreted by agency staff when completing the posttreatment survey. There is not a clear definition of satisfactory treatment
completion/non satisfactory treatment completion. Therefore, this information may
have a wide ranging meaning of treatment success when analyzing client data
along this indicator. For instance, an agency may define treatment completion as a
client abstinence from AOD for a period of time during treatment. Another agency
may determine treatment completion when a specified number of service activities
or completed. Both examples would constitute some of the data for successful
client completion from an AITRP treatment program.
The length of treatment is determined by first recording the date of treatment
admission and the administering of the pre-treatment LACPRS survey. Comparing

that with the date of post-treatment LACPRS survey will provide the study with the
length of time in treatment indicator. The number, type, and frequency of
treatment events within the time span will not be addressed or included in the data
analysis.
This study will be limited to the generalized effect of treatment and will not
include the impact of number, type and frequency of treatment events. The study
will also not take into consideration the problem severity and scope of problem
issues for each client presenting in AITRP treatment programs. Clients may present
with mental health disorders, educational issues, health issues, and legal issues.
Treatment agencies will provide services to address as many client needs as
possible. The agencies will refer the client out for services when they cannot be
provided at the agency. All these services will be provided as substance abuse
treatment and cannot be considered in the study.
The AITRP study will provide general information of the treatment effects of
the AITRP system of services. More specific information on specific treatment
approaches, intensity of services, and duration of services will need to be conducted
in future studies.

Limitations
The study provides important insight regarding work life balance of women employees of Indian
banking sector. But still the study has some limitations. Which were mentioned below.

First of all the sample of the study was limited to banking organizations of Rajasthan
only. And it cannot be generalize for the whole country.beacause to some extent work life
balance is also affected by place

Due to the close ended questionnaires the respondents have to be in limit while expressing their
views.

The outcome of the study cannot be generalized because the study is only based on the
women employees. And the context of work life balance will be different in case of male
employees.

The study is chiefly concentrated only on the Banking sectors. Hence it becomes difficult
to Judge the importance of Work-life balance across other Industries.

The study is only based on public and private banks of india.but in todays competing
world when foreign banks become an important part of over economy. They have not
been included in the study.

For the study only few factors have been taken to measure work life interference and
work life balance. Work life balance is a vast phenomenon and there are many other
factors which can be considered for the study.

Time factor was a major challenge. Because as a study was time bound so it become
difficult for the researcher to collect the data from the larger population.

SCOPE AND DELIMITATIONS

1.
SCOPE AND DELIMITATION
This study was delimited to the preparation, implementation, and
evaluation of a prototype drama production-based module aimed at
improving students oral communication skills in English.
There was only one drama used in the module which was New Yorker in
Tondo by Marcelino Agana. The choice of the drama was anchored on Vias
(1979(views that a good play for language teaching is culturally loaded
and one that fits the language to the culture.
Furthermore, the study was confined to getting the responses of the studentrespondents and did not include teacher-respondents.
The study involved a class of sophomore students, thirty eight all, in the tertiary
level enrolled in Oral Communication (English 3) during the first semester of the
academic year 2002-2003 at the New Era University, Quezon City. The class was
picked by the researcher out of the two English 3 classes she handled during the
first semester because it was composed of students majoring in different fields of

business, therefore were not classmates in all their subjects and would make extra
effort to know each other, interact, and go through the stages of drama production.
2.
SCOPE AND DELIMITATION
Out of 189 second year accounting students of Saint Marys University, 100
students
were used as a sample in conducting the survey.
This study limits its coverage on the second year accounting students only. Its
main
purpose is to identify the common problems that they encounter and to propose
possible
solutions regarding this problems.
This study considers every aspect of students personal information that has an
impact
on their academic performances such as their parents educational background, their
parents income, their gender, age and home location. Each of the respondents are
given
same questionnaires to answer. And this study focuses on the current second year
students of the present school year, 2008-2009.

3.

Scope and Delimitation

In general, the focus of this study is directed towards the design and
development of an online clinic management system. About five small to medium sized
medical clinics with its doctors, staff and patients are randomly selected within Cebu
area only from December 2007 to January 2008. The study is largely dependent on the
honesty, sincerity and integrity of the respondents.

In this proposed system, records and files are computerized and stored online for
accessibility and portability. However, the proponents limit the online feature of the
system to doctors and staff only. Web-access of the patients is not included. The
system has a secure log-in for doctors and staff.

Managing appointments is also

integrated and billing statements and official receipts are automated as well as medical
prescriptions and medical certificates.

4.

SCOPE AND DELIMITATION

This study examines the prospects of a nursing career at DepEd,
particularly the relationship between the level of job satisfaction and work
commitment among the nurses assigned at the DepEd Southern Leyte
Division, located at Mantahan, Maasin City.
Only the DepEd registered nurses served as the respondents of the
study. Exempted from the study were registered nurses who performed
administrative functions.
5.

Scope and Delimitation

The study will be done in the campus of San Juan De
Dios Educational

Foundation Incorporated (College). This will include

three level III clinical
instructors teaching Nursing Care Management (NCM)
101 (Communicable
Disease/Stress) and level III BSN students, who are
currently enrolled in NCM
101. For the clinical instructors they are asked to
accomplish a survey
questionnaire (Classroom Management Style Survey)
that will rate if their
teaching style is authoritative, democratic, laissezfaire, or indifferent. And for
the students they are asked to accomplish 3 parts of
survey questionnaire
(Classroom Management: Style Survey & Stress Test)
composed of the
following: first is their demographic data, second is
their perceived level of stress
in the classroom environment (access to instructional
materials, classroom
Behavior and environmental factors); and third is their
perceived teaching style
of their respective Clinical Instructor that is adopted
and modified from the
survey questionnaire used for the Clinical Instructor.
The academic performance
of the students in the subject NCM 101 is evaluated
through a summative test
that will be given by level III BSN Clinical Instructor.
