how it relates to the
mass of the rocket.

WHY we are learning how

to use the 3D CAD
program. We will be
using this program later in
our unit to design, create,

special mission to learn
more about space
volcanoes. Have groups
share out their car
dimensions and how
many polygons their cars
were converted into for
3D printing. Discuss how
math is integrated into

multiplication and
division. Also discuss how
students that are
interested in engineering
and designing things will
be better prepared for
their career one day if
they have a lot of practice
and work with programs
such as these.
