General Task:

Support of the local project managementand Operations team to effectively integrate


new production processes, to improve existing manufacturing processes and to
support the project engineers with new production plant projects. Perform risk
analysis of existing and new manufacturing processes and to transferproduct
production technologies.

Main roles and responsibilities:

Continuously improve current product manufacturing processes with regards to


safety, quality and efficiency.
Study new process technology to improve production efficiency.
Optimize process and equipment running performance with production team together
so as to improve productivity.
Work closely with R&D department to translate new formulations into production.
Close co-operation with R&D regarding formulation, manufacturing process and raw
material costing.
Transfer manufacturing processes from laboratory to production.
Defines and writes the production procedures.
Work closely with maintenance team to analyze root cause of equipment failure,
reduce break down time of equipment.
Keeps track of OEE figures (overall equipment effectiveness)
Assists the Operations manager to investigate root cause of nonconformance batch
with QC/QA team and works out preventive action to avoid similar case happenagain.
Participation in investment projects which involve manufacturing processes.
Makes sure to apply various methodological analysis (risk analysis, HAZOP, costbenefit analyzes, FMEAs).
Observance of the internal standards (review, reporting, processes).
Supports local project management team with FAT (factory acceptance tests), SAT and
the start up of production lines.

Responsibility:

The process engineer applies standard engineering practices and follows local and
international rules and regulations.
The process engineer wisely selects and uses resources within the budget.
The process engineer makes sure to protect information to third parties (privacy,
patents).
The process engineer ensures proper information transfer on among involved parties
