Students Background Knowledge

What do the students already know, what have they

done before, how does this lesson connect to or build on their existing knowledge? What has your
mentor teacher communicated to you about the students? What do you know about the students?
Have you collected any evidence yourself?
I have been observing those children for few days. Almost of them love arts, such as drawing and painting. In
addition, few children rarely doing drawing and painting. Besides, all of children are curiosity for interesting
activities.

Resources and Materials What materials and resources will you need to have prepared?
2 boxes; few A4 papers; few glasses bead; pigment
Teacher Focus What will you concentrate on yourself? What pedagogical practice do you hope
to develop? How will you recognise and value the ideas of children? How will you ensure that your
practice is child and family centred?
I will engage children in my activity, and listen to more their ideas rather than teaching. My purpose is to
developing childrens knowledge of color and interests. Furthermore, I will respect childrens ideas and provide
them help appropriately. I will offer encouragement to them when they finish the game and develop their
knowledge as well. Moreover, I will use open-ended question and leading question that to guiding their behavior,
which encourage them care and listen to each others.

Reflection on Student Learning What did you observe about childrens learning?

Comments on Future Lesson Directions

Are there areas you need to go over or move

beyond?

Reflection on Lesson

How was the timing or the flow of the lesson? What other observations

did you make?

Reflection on own practice

Did you meet your own teacher focus objectives? Could you
still improve in that area? Were there other areas you feel you could concentrate on in the future?
What were the positive points of your lesson?
