Introduction

As an industry leader, Tyson Foods, Inc., has


built a reputation of producing trusted food
products and caring about the people whose
lives we touch. We believe that we make great
food and make a difference in the lives of the
people we serve.
The addition of the corporate tag line Making
Great Food. Making A Difference. is an
extension of what we do every day. It embodies
what we stand for, conveys the beliefs and
principles upon which we operate, and serves
as a reminder to our Team Members and the
public of our commitment to fulfilling our
purpose.
This manual contains guidelines, rules, and
examples for the correct use of the logo
throughout all aspects of our corporate
communications. The Corporate Communications
department can provide expert and authoritative
assistance on applications requiring further
detail.

when identifying the corporate entity. It is not a
product brand, department, or subsidiary.

be used when the TFI version is used.
Tyson Foods, Inc., Logo with Tag Line in Tab
The Tyson Foods, Inc., logo with the tag line
must be used in the tab graphic if the logo is
being placed over an image or graphic. The tab
graphic serves to ensure readability and that
safe space requirements are met.

Color
The colors for the logo and the brand look are
defined in Pantone Matching System (PMS),
CMYK, RGB, and HEX. These are the official
color versions to be used. All requests to
deviate from this pallette should be sent to
Corporate Communications.

If you are creating materials that need more
than the images available, these guidelines may
help in selecting images.
Outdoor photos should have blue sky
Indoor photos should simulate natural
lighting
When using photos from a plant floor, Team
Members must be properly attired in clean
khakis or lab coat, have required safety
equipment, ear protection, hair net and/or
beard net.
Do not photograph proprietary equipment
or processes, or unclean areas of a plant
location if photos are to be utilized in a
public publication or venue.

should not be altered in any way.

tag line is a trademark, and should not be
altered in any way.
Copyright Lines
When Tyson Foods, Inc., creates any materials,
a copyright line must be included. The copyright
line must include the year the material was
created and the name of the company claiming
the copyrights. The examples below show the
appropriate way to display copyright ownership.

Copy Style Guide

Using the Complete Tag Line in Text


There may be times when the Making Great
Food. Making A Difference. tag line will be
used in a body of text. When using the complete
tag line, the words must be used in a style
distinctive from the remaining text (italics or
bold) and the trademark symbol must be used
on at least the first reference on each page.

In subsequent references on the same page, the
full trademark line will be expressed in italics (or
bold type) like this:

Using a Part of the Tag Line in Text


There may be times when only half of the tag
line is referenced in a body of text. Because the
individual elements are not trademarked, they
are treated differently. When using individual
elements, use sentence case to maintain
traditional Tyson Foods style.
