Regency Innovation Solutions and UBA Tanzania
have signed a memorandum of understanding to offer PrePaid Visa cards throughout Africa
starting with Tanzania. This was announced earlier today during a press conference to launch
the Mimosa Black Card, a PrePaid Visa card that allows clients to deposit and access their
fundswithouttheneedofabankaccount.

The new PrePaid Visa card is similar to a normaldebitcardbutuniquebecauseitisnotlinked

to the clients bank account, making it cheaper and easier to use and reload. The card is PIN
protectedwithchiptechnologyforenhancedsecurity.Thisway,usersoftheMimosaBlackCard
can withdraw from any Visa ATM, make cashless payments at anypointofsalesterminalsand
also make safe and secure online payments on all ecommerce merchants. Holders of the
Mimosa Black Card will also be able to usetheir cardsacross theglobe.Inaddition,clientscan
deposit money to their account or multiple accounts through any UBA branch, MPesa,
TigoPesa, Airtel money and through collection deposit accounts in all CRDB Bank and Exim
Bankbranches.

Tanzania already has the technological basis to become a cashless society.With ourprepaid
cards we encourage our clients to embrace a cashless lifestyle. Furthermore our clients will
receive various discounts at several outlets not only in Tanzania but in Africa and eventually
